This week began the work on the final version of our map and the beginning of making the layout of the sand blocks. The picture shown above is the layout we went with, the red dots indicate where the enemies will spawn from.
This week I also started working on the script which would control the placement of towers. The aim of the script was to be able to walk up to a sand block and have a selection UI pop up, which would then tell you which button to push to place each of the towers. The script at its current point doesn't work the greatest, the towers are currently being placed at random.
