Pre-testing updates
As the testing session was coming closer, we had to get some more things done.
The whole team worked hard to fix most problems. I adapted the UI to scale properly to large screens and added in-game cash. Small changes and improvements were made for the general feel of the game and the scene got decorated with some assets.
The biggest issue however: tower spawning.
We found many, many ways, how to NOT make it work. Towers would either not appear at all, appear in always the same location, or (our personal favourite) appear at sandblocks far away from where the player is. It was always the same block, that spawned the first tower, so we could have nearly pretended it was intentional - just that it wasn't. All available online help pointed towards the solution we had already implemented. So we were stuck with the semi random placement for the testing session.
